I am not getting matches
A match needs a like from both sides. Things that help: clear photos, a finished profile, the verified badge, wider preferences and using Daily.
- Android app
- Murudo Web
A match happens only when two people like each other, so there are two things to work on: being shown to more of the right people, and giving them a reason to like you back. Nothing here guarantees a match, but each step reflects how Murudo actually works.
Make sure you are being shown
- Open the Profile tab. If you see Profile info not complete, your profile is not shown to anyone until you finish it. See Why is my profile not being shown?
- Check that your account is not paused: Profile, Settings, Privacy and security.
- Open Murudo regularly. People who used Murudo recently are shown before people who have been away.
Give people a reason to like you
- Photos. Use bright photos where your face is clear, and more than one. See Add, replace or reorder your photos.
- Bio and prompts. Write a sentence or two and answer at least one prompt. A profile with at least two clear photos, a real bio and a prompt gives people something to reply to, and Murudo does more for a complete profile than for an empty one.
- Get verified. Among people active at about the same time, verified profiles are shown first. See Get the verified badge.
- More ideas are in Tips for a profile that gets replies.
Like more of the right people
- Use your likes. Nobody can match with you until you like them or they like you.
- Widen your Age Range and Max Distance. Your age range starts at only three years either side of your own age. See Set your distance, age range and who you want to date.
- Open Likes every day. Liking someone back from Liked You is a match straight away. See See who liked you.
Use Daily
Open the Daily tab each day and tap Reach out when someone fits. A reach-out goes to the person with your message, and it does not use a like. Also look in Matches, under Daily, for requests sent to you. See How Daily works.
Paid options
These are optional.
- A boost puts you first in For You for 30 minutes.
- Plus and Gold give unlimited likes, show you everyone who liked you, and are shown earlier in For You. See Free, Plus and Gold compared.
When you do match
Say hello soon. See Send your first message.
On Murudo Web
Everything here applies on Murudo Web too. The For You tab is called Discover there, and Match Preferences are under Profile, Settings, Discovery Preferences.
