Can I search for a specific person?

No. Murudo has no search by name, username, phone number or email. Why that protects members, and where to find someone you have already met there.

  • Android app
  • Murudo Web

No. Murudo has no search box. You cannot look anyone up by name, username, phone number or email, in the Android app or on Murudo Web. You meet people through Daily, For You and Likes.

A search would let anyone who knows your name or number find your dating profile: an ex, a colleague, a relative, or someone you turned down. Without it, a person only sees you when Murudo shows you to them, which means you fit what they are looking for and they fit what you are looking for. It also means that blocking someone works: they cannot search their way back to you.

Where to find someone you have already seen

  • You matched. They are in the Matches tab. If the chat has gone, see Why did my match or chat disappear?
  • You liked them. Open Likes and tap You Liked. They stay there until they answer.
  • They liked you. Open Likes and look under Liked You.
  • You passed on them. There is no list of passes. Plus and Gold members can Rewind for 30 seconds. After that, the profile can come back in For You later.
  • You closed their Daily introduction. It cannot be reopened.

If you know someone is on Murudo

You cannot open their profile directly, and you cannot share a link to a profile. Each of you may come across the other in For You if you fit each other's preferences: who you both want to date, age range and distance. Widening your Match Preferences makes that more likely, but nothing makes a particular person appear.

If you need to report someone you cannot find

You can still report them. See Report someone after an unmatch or block. If someone is using your photos or pretending to be you, see Someone is using my photos or pretending to be me.
