Can I get a refund?

What can and cannot be refunded on Murudo, and what to do if you were charged twice or did not get what you paid for.

  • Android app
  • Murudo Web

Murudo has no refund button and no set refund period. If you were charged twice, or you paid and did not get what you paid for, contact support with the payment reference and it will be looked into. Purchases made through Google Play follow Google Play's refund rules.

If you paid with EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks or card

  • If you were charged twice, or you paid and got nothing, contact support with the payment reference. What to send is listed at the end of this page.
  • Boosts are non-refundable once activated.
  • A Forever plan is not refunded if you delete your account or if your account is banned.
  • Murudo Wallet credit cannot be withdrawn as cash.

Before you write, check whether a second payment for the same pass was kept as wallet credit. The payment screen says Added to your wallet when that happens. See What "Checking your payment" means.

If you paid through Google Play

Refunds for Google Play purchases follow Google Play's refund rules, and you ask Google Play for them, not Murudo. Google explains its rules in Learn about Google Play refund policies.

If Google Play refunds a purchase, what it paid for ends: the pass stops, and unused boosts from a refunded pack are removed.

To stop future charges, see Cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the period you have already paid for.

Event tickets

If you cancel a paid ticket for a Murudo event, the app tells you the team will review a refund and contact you. See Cancel an event booking.

What to send support

Open Profile, Inbox, Contact Murudo in the app, or email support@foretellhq.com. Include:

  • your username or the email on your account
  • the payment reference from the payment screen
  • the confirmation message from EcoCash or your bank, with the date, time and amount
  • what you paid for and what went wrong

Never send your PIN. Support cannot say in advance what the result will be: each request is checked against the payment record.
