Murudo Wallet (if you see it)
Murudo Wallet is prepaid credit for Murudo purchases that some accounts have. What it pays for, how money gets into it and what it cannot do.
- App from murudo.co
- Murudo Web
Murudo Wallet is prepaid credit on your Murudo account, used to pay for Murudo purchases. Not every account has it. If you do not see Murudo Wallet on your Profile tab, it is not switched on for you, and you pay for each purchase directly instead.
Where to find it
- In the Android app downloaded from murudo.co: open Profile and scroll to the bottom. If you have a wallet, there is a Murudo Wallet row with your balance. Tap it to see Wallet balance and Recent activity.
- On Murudo Web: open Profile. If you have a wallet, there is a Murudo Wallet section with your balance and a Top up button.
- The app from Google Play has no wallet.
How money gets into it
- You top it up. Choose one of the Quick amounts or type one under Other amount, then pay with EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks or card.
- A late payment is kept as credit. If a payment is confirmed after you had already paid again for the same pass, or a boost payment is confirmed late, the amount is added to your wallet and the screen says Added to your wallet. See What "Checking your payment" means.
Every change is listed under Recent activity.
What you can pay for
- A Plus or Gold pass. At checkout, Murudo Wallet is the first choice under Payment method, with your balance. If the balance covers the price it is marked Instant: tap it, then tap the button that starts with Pay. There is no prompt and no PIN.
- Packs of Super Likes or Like Reveals, if you see those for sale.
If your balance is too low, the wallet choice is marked Top up and takes you to the wallet to add the difference.
What you cannot do with it
- Buy boosts or a Forever plan.
- Use it together with a special offer price.
- Withdraw it as cash, or send it to another person or another account.
Problems with a top-up
A top-up is a normal payment, so the same steps apply: see My payment is not going through. If a top-up was charged twice or never reached your wallet, contact support with the payment reference and it will be looked into.
If the app told you money was added to your wallet but you cannot find Murudo Wallet on your Profile tab, contact support through Profile, Inbox, Contact Murudo with the payment reference.
