Can I have more than one account?

Murudo is one account per person. Why, what to do if you are locked out or want a fresh start, and how to use one account on two devices.

  • Android app
  • Murudo Web

No. Murudo is one account per person. The Community Guidelines ask you to use your real identity, and they do not allow a second account made to get around a suspension or a ban.

Why one account

  • Every profile should be one real person. Two profiles for the same person mislead the people who see them.
  • An email address can only be on one account. If you try to sign up again with the same email, you are told that an account with it already exists.
  • Premium belongs to the account it was bought on. It cannot be moved to another account, so a second account does not carry your plan, boosts or matches.

You do not need a second account for a second device

One account works everywhere. Log in with the same details in the Android app and on Murudo Web at murudo.co/app, and you see the same profile, matches and chats. See Log in to Murudo.

If you are locked out

Do not make a new account. Get back into the one you have:

If you want a fresh start

Edit the profile you have: you can change your photos, bio, prompts and answers at any time.

If you would still like to start again, delete your account first, then sign up again. Deleting is permanent: your matches, chats and Premium end with the old account. Read Coming back after deleting your account before you do.

If your account was suspended or banned

Opening another account to get around it is against the rules, and the new account can be removed too. If you believe the decision was a mistake, send an appeal from the account that was restricted.

If you think someone has two accounts, or a fake one

Report the profile and say what you noticed. The steps are in Report someone.
