Who can join Murudo?

Murudo is for adults aged 18 or over who want a real relationship, in Zimbabwe or anywhere else. One account each, as yourself.

  • Android app
  • Murudo Web

Anyone aged 18 or over can join Murudo. It is built for Zimbabweans at home and in the diaspora, and for people who want a real Zimbabwean connection. You join as yourself, with one account.

You must be 18 or older

Murudo asks for your birthday when you set up your profile. If you are under 18 you cannot continue, and your age is shown on your profile. Read You must be 18 or older.

If you think another member is under 18, report them.

Join as yourself

  • Use your real first name and your real age.
  • Use your own photos, with your face clearly visible. See What photos are allowed.
  • Do not pretend to be someone else.

One account each

An email address or a username can belong to only one Murudo account at a time. Do not open a second account to get around a suspension or a ban. See Can I have more than one account?

You do not have to be in Zimbabwe

You can use Murudo wherever you live. Members are in Zimbabwe and across the diaspora.

  • On an Android phone, use the Murudo app.
  • On an iPhone or a computer, use Murudo Web.

How to get Murudo on your phone explains each one. The ways you can pay for Murudo Premium depend on the version you use: see Why do I not see EcoCash (or Google Play) as a payment option?

Who you can meet

When you set up your profile you say whether you are Female, Male or Non-binary, and whether you want to date Women, Men, Non-binary people or Everyone. Murudo only introduces two people when each is someone the other wants to date.

What Murudo is for

Murudo is for people who want something serious, such as a relationship or marriage. You say what you are looking for on your profile. If you are not looking for anything serious, Murudo is probably not for you.
