What is Murudo?

Murudo is a dating app for Zimbabweans at home and across the diaspora, and for people who want a real Zimbabwean connection. It is made for people who want something real. Joining, matching and messaging are free.

How it works

1. You create a profile with photos, a short bio, prompts and what you are looking for.
2. Murudo introduces you to people in two ways: a small set of hand-picked introductions each day in Daily, and more profiles to browse in For You.
3. When you like someone and they like you back, it is a match and the two of you can chat.

Every profile shows what that person is looking for, so you know before you say hello.

The six tabs

• Daily: answer a few questions once, then get introductions chosen for you each day. See How Daily works.
• For You: browse one profile at a time and like or pass. See How For You works.
• Meets: official Murudo events you can book a place at. See What is Murudo Meets?
• Likes: the people who liked you, and the people you liked.
• Matches: your matches and your chats.
• Profile: your own profile, Murudo Premium, your Inbox, Safety and Settings.

On Murudo Web the For You tab is called Discover. It is the same thing.

Where you can use it

• On an Android phone, as an app from Google Play or downloaded from https://murudo.co/.
• On an iPhone or a computer, as Murudo Web at https://murudo.co/app/. There is no app in the App Store.

Built to be safer

• Members can verify with a selfie. Verified profiles carry a Verified badge.
• You can block or report anyone. Every report is reviewed by a person.
