Take a screenshot to send to support
How to take a screenshot on an Android phone or an iPhone and attach it to your message to Murudo support.
- Android app
- Murudo Web
On most Android phones, press the Power and Volume down buttons together for a moment. On an iPhone, press the Side button and Volume up together. Then attach the picture to your message to support.
On Android
- Open the screen you want to show, for example the error message.
- Press Power and Volume down at the same time, then let go.
- The screen flashes. The picture is saved with your photos, usually in an album called Screenshots.
Some phones have other ways as well, such as a screenshot button in the quick settings you pull down from the top. If the buttons do not work, look up "screenshot" with the name of your phone.
On iPhone
- iPhone without a Home button: press the Side button and Volume up together.
- iPhone with a Home button: press the Home button and the Side button together.
The picture is saved in Photos.
Send it to support
In the Android app:
- Open the Profile tab, tap Inbox, then Contact Murudo. If you already have a thread with support, open that thread.
- Tap the picture icon next to the message box and choose the screenshot.
- When you see Photo ready to send, add a note if you like and tap the arrow.
On Murudo Web, open Profile, Inbox, Contact Murudo, tap Attach photo, choose the screenshot and tap Send.
Each message takes one picture. To send a second one, send another message. If you cannot log in, attach the screenshots to an email to support@foretellhq.com.
What makes a screenshot useful
- Show the whole screen, with the message word for word.
- For a payment, show the screen with the payment reference, and the SMS from your mobile money service or bank if you have one.
- Add a screenshot of the bottom of Settings, where your version is. See Find your Murudo version.
To report another member, a screenshot helps, but report them from their profile too. See Report someone.
