Get a copy of your data

There is no download button in Murudo. To get a copy of your data, email support from the address on your account and we check it is you first.

  • Android app
  • Murudo Web

You cannot download your data from inside the Android app or Murudo Web: there is no export button. To get a copy, email our support team and ask for one. The Privacy Policy names this as the way to make an export request.

Ask for a copy

  1. Write to support@foretellhq.com from the email address on your Murudo account.
  2. Say that you want a copy of your data, and which data you need. For example: your profile details, your messages, or your payment history.
  3. Send it, and watch that inbox for our reply.

If your account uses a username and has no email address, write from any address you can read, and give your username and the recovery contact you saved when you signed up.

We check it is you first

Your data includes private things, such as your messages. Before anything is sent, our team checks that the request really comes from the person who owns the account. Writing from the email address on the account is the simplest way to show that. We may ask you more questions if we cannot be sure.

Do not send your password or any login code. Support does not need them for this.

Do it before you delete

Deleting your account removes your profile, photos and messages, so ask for your copy first and wait for it before you delete. See What happens to my data when I delete my account.

Things you can see or fix yourself

You may not need a full copy.

  • Your profile. Open Profile and tap Edit Profile to see and change your photos, bio, prompts and answers.
  • Your chats. They are in Matches for as long as the match lasts.
  • Your plan. The Murudo Premium card on the Profile tab shows your plan and when it ends.
  • Your email address. It is in Settings, under Account and security in the Android app or Account on Murudo Web.

If something we hold about you is wrong and you cannot change it yourself, for example your birthday after you have used your one correction, tell support in the same way and say what the right detail is.
