Add Murudo Web to an Android Home Screen
In Chrome on Android, open murudo.co/app, then use Chrome's menu and tap Install app. Murudo then opens from its own icon.
- Murudo Web
You can put Murudo Web on an Android Home Screen from Chrome: open https://murudo.co/app/, log in, then open Chrome's menu and tap Install app. Murudo then opens from its own icon, full screen.
If your phone can install the Murudo app, that is usually the better choice: it is made for Android and has a fingerprint lock. See How to get Murudo on your phone. Use Murudo Web on Android if you cannot install the app or do not want to.
Add it from Chrome
- Open https://murudo.co/app/ in Chrome and log in.
- Tap the three dots at the top of Chrome.
- Tap Install app. On some versions of Chrome this is called Add to Home screen.
- Confirm. Murudo Web shows Murudo is installed.
- Open Murudo from your Home Screen or your list of apps.
If Murudo offers it
After your first day, Murudo Web may show Install Murudo on Android by itself.
- Tap Install Murudo.
- Confirm in the box that Chrome opens.
Tap Not now to close it. It can come back another time. It stops once you have opened Murudo from your Home Screen.
After you have added it
- Turn on notifications in Profile, Settings, Account, Browser notifications. See Get notifications on Murudo Web.
- The first time you open Murudo from your Home Screen while signed in, a free Like Reveal is added to your account.
- There is nothing to update. Murudo Web loads the newest version each time you open it.
If you do not see Install app
- Make sure you are in Chrome itself, not inside Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or another app. Use that app's menu to open the page in your browser.
- Make sure the address is https://murudo.co/app/.
- Other browsers name this differently or do not offer it. You can still use Murudo Web as a normal page and save it as a bookmark.
