# I blocked someone by mistake

A block cannot be undone in the app or on Murudo Web. What the block has already done, and how to ask support whether it can be removed.

You cannot unblock someone yourself. The Android app and Murudo Web have no list of the people you have blocked and no unblock button. What you can do is contact support and ask whether the block can be removed. Support cannot promise that it will be, and removing a block does not bring back a match or a chat.

## What the block has already done

- The two of you no longer appear to each other in For You, Daily or Likes.
- If you were matched, the match has ended. Neither of you can open the chat or send a message.
- The other person was not told that you blocked them.

Most mistakes happen on For You, where **Block** and **Report** sit one above the other and the block is made the moment you tap it, with no second question.

## Ask support to look at it

1. Open the **Profile** tab and tap **Inbox**.
2. Tap **Contact Murudo**.
3. In **Short subject**, write that you blocked someone by mistake.
4. In your message, give:

   - the person's first name, age and city as their profile showed them
   - roughly when you blocked them
   - where you were: For You, Daily, Likes or a chat

5. Tap the arrow to send.

Give as much as you can. Without the name, age and city, our team may not be able to tell which block you mean. The reply comes to the same thread in your **Inbox**, and there is no set reply time.

On Murudo Web the steps are the same: **Profile**, **Inbox**, **Contact Murudo**, then **Send**. You can also email [support@foretellhq.com](mailto:support@foretellhq.com) from the email address on your account.

## If the block is removed

- The old match does not come back, and the old chat stays closed.
- Murudo may or may not show you to each other again. Nobody is placed back in front of you.

## If you meant to do something else

- **You meant to report them.** You still can. Open **Profile**, **Safety**, **Report a Safety Concern** and describe the person. See [Report someone after an unmatch or block](https://help.murudo.co/safety/report-someone-you-no-longer-match-with/).
- **You meant to unmatch.** The block has already ended the match, so there is nothing more to do.
- **You meant to pass.** The profile has left your For You. Nothing more is needed unless you want the block removed.

## Next time

On a match's profile, **Block** asks you to confirm before anything happens. On For You it does not. If you only want to move on from a profile, tap the **X** to pass. See [Block someone](https://help.murudo.co/safety/block-someone/).
