Where the button is in each version of Murudo, and what happens to the Plus time you have left. You upgrade by buying a Gold pass while you are on Plus. Gold starts as soon as the payment is confirmed. The Plus time you have left is not refunded, paused or added to the Gold pass: it keeps running underneath, and if any is left when Gold ends you are on Plus again until it ends. ## What happens to your Plus time - You pay the full price of the Gold pass. Nothing is taken off for Plus time you have not used. - Plus keeps counting down while Gold is active. With 20 days of Plus left and a 7-day Gold pass, you have 13 days of Plus when Gold ends. - So the best time to upgrade is near the end of your Plus pass, or with a Gold pass shorter than the Plus time you have left. - While Gold is active, included boosts follow the Gold pass. Open **Profile** and tap **Manage** on your plan card. 2. Under **Choose your pass**, tap **24-hour pass**, **7-day pass** or **30-day pass**. The tiles can show Plus prices. The Gold price for the length you chose is on the button below. 3. Tap the gold button that starts with **Upgrade to Gold**. It names the pass and its price. 4. On **Buy Pass**, check that the pass named at the top is the Gold pass you chose, then choose a payment method and pay. See [Pay with EcoCash](https://help.murudo.co/premium-and-payments/pay-with-ecocash/). 5. When you see **Payment Successful**, tap **Done**. The card on your Profile tab now says **Gold Member**. Gold prices are in [What Murudo Premium costs](https://help.murudo.co/premium-and-payments/prices/). ## In the app from Google Play If your Plus pass came from Google Play, the Premium screen has a **Manage in Google Play** link and no button for Gold while Plus is active. You have two choices: - **Wait for Plus to end.** Tap **Manage in Google Play** and cancel the Plus subscription. You keep Plus until the date after **Ends**. After that, open **Profile**, tap **See Plans**, choose **Gold** and buy the pass through Google Play. - **Buy Gold on Murudo Web now.** Follow the steps in the next section with the same account. Gold is then active in the app as well. If your Plus did not come from Google Play, for example you bought it on Murudo Web, the **Upgrade to Gold** button is there. The Gold pass is then paid through Google Play, where a 7-day or 30-day pass renews until you cancel it. > [!WARNING] > Buying Gold does not cancel a Plus subscription in Google Play. It keeps renewing, and Google Play keeps charging for it, until you cancel it there. See [Cancel a Google Play subscription](https://help.murudo.co/premium-and-payments/cancel-a-google-play-subscription/). ## On Murudo Web **Profile**, **Manage** opens **Your Murudo Premium**. That page shows only the plan you have and has no buttons for buying a pass. To reach the Gold passes: 1. Open **Discover** and tap the glasses icon at the top. 2. On **Want to browse privately?**, tap **Upgrade**. Murudo Premium opens with both plans. 3. Under **Murudo Gold**, tap **24 hours**, **7 days** or **30 days**. 4. Choose EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks or Card & Bank and pay. A pass bought on Murudo Web is paid once and does not renew. ## After you upgrade The Profile tab says **Gold Member**, and your Plus pass is not shown while Gold is active. When Gold ends, the card goes back to **Plus Member** if you still have Plus time. Gold Forever is a separate one-time purchase.
