# I was charged twice

What to check when two payments left your account for one Murudo purchase, where the second one may have gone, and what to send support.

First check whether the second payment was kept for you, as wallet credit or as extra time on your pass. If it was not, contact support with both payment references and it will be looked into. If you paid through Google Play, the request goes to Google Play.

> [!WARNING]
> Do not pay a third time to fix it. If the screen says **Checking your payment**, wait for it to change before you start any new payment. See [What "Checking your payment" means](https://help.murudo.co/premium-and-payments/checking-your-payment/).

## If you paid with EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks or card

### Check where the second payment went

1. **Look for wallet credit.** If a payment for a pass is confirmed after you have already paid again, you are not given two passes. The extra payment is kept as Murudo Wallet credit and the payment screen says **Added to your wallet**. A late payment for boosts is kept as wallet credit too. If you have a wallet, the **Profile** tab shows **Murudo Wallet** with your balance. See [Murudo Wallet](https://help.murudo.co/premium-and-payments/murudo-wallet/).
2. **Check your end date.** In the Android app, open **Profile**, tap **Manage** and read the date after **Ends**. If both payments were confirmed as passes for the same plan, Plus or Gold, their time is added together, so your pass ends later than one pass would. Murudo Web does not show the end date.
3. **Check that money left twice.** Read the messages from EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks or your bank. Make sure both are confirmations of a payment, not a request that timed out or was declined.

### If the second payment is not there

Contact support. Open **Profile**, **Inbox**, **Contact Murudo**, or email [support@foretellhq.com](mailto:support@foretellhq.com). Include:

- your username or the email on your Murudo account
- both payment references from the payment screen, if you have them
- both confirmation messages from EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks or your bank, with the date, time and amount of each
- the number you paid from, and what you were buying

If you were told money was added to your wallet but there is no **Murudo Wallet** on your Profile tab, say so and give the reference.

Never send your PIN. Murudo has no refund button and no set refund period, and support cannot say in advance what the result will be: each request is checked against the payment record. See [Can I get a refund?](https://help.murudo.co/premium-and-payments/refunds/)

## If you paid through Google Play

- A charge that comes 7 or 30 days after the first one is a renewal, not a double charge. A 7-day or 30-day pass bought through Google Play renews until you cancel it. See [Cancel a Google Play subscription](https://help.murudo.co/premium-and-payments/cancel-a-google-play-subscription/).
- For two charges for the same purchase, Google Play's refund rules apply and you ask Google Play, not Murudo. Google explains how in [Learn about Google Play refund policies](https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/2479637). Have the order numbers from Google Play's receipt emails ready. They start with GPA.

## If you paid in two places

A Google Play subscription and a pass paid with EcoCash on Murudo Web are two separate purchases, even on the same Murudo account. One does not cancel or replace the other, and Google Play keeps renewing until you cancel there.

## Event tickets

If a ticket payment shows **Payment needs review**, do not pay again. See [Pay for an event ticket](https://help.murudo.co/meets/pay-for-an-event-ticket/).
