# Send stickers in a chat

Tap the smiley face beside the message box, choose a pack and tap a sticker to send it. You can also make stickers from your own pictures.

To send a sticker, open the chat, tap the smiley face beside the message box and tap a sticker. It is sent straight away. Stickers are free, and you can send them to anyone you have matched with.

## Send a sticker

1. Open the chat.
2. Tap the smiley face beside the message box. The stickers open where the keyboard was.
3. Choose a pack along the top. **Recent** shows the stickers you sent last. Next come Murudo's packs, with greetings and words in Shona, Ndebele and English. The **Community** pack of members' stickers comes after them once it has stickers, and **Your stickers** is last.
4. Tap a sticker to send it. To see a sticker bigger before you send it, press and hold it.

To go back to typing, tap the same button again.

## Make a sticker from your own picture

1. Open the stickers and tap **Your stickers**, the last tab.
2. Tap **Make** and choose a picture from your phone.

Murudo turns the picture into a sticker. A picture with a see-through background keeps its shape. Any other picture becomes a rounded square.

- Use a JPEG, PNG or WebP picture of up to 5 MB.
- You can keep up to 60 stickers of your own and make up to 20 a day.
- Only you can send your own stickers, unless one is added to the Community pack.

## Offer a sticker to everyone

Press and hold one of your stickers and tap **Offer to everyone**. Our team looks at it first. If it is added, it goes into the **Community** pack and every member can send it. You can offer up to 5 stickers a day.

A Community sticker can show you or no one, but never other people. It must be a picture you have the right to share, with no nudity, nothing sexual and nothing hateful or violent.

To see where an offer stands, press and hold the sticker. It tells you whether our team is still looking at it, whether everyone can send it now, or why it was not added.

## Delete one of your stickers

Press and hold the sticker and tap **Delete**. It leaves your stickers. Chats that already have it still show it.

## Good to know

- A sticker that shows **Sticker removed** was taken away by our team.
- If a sticker does not load, tap **Tap to load sticker**.
- In your list of chats, a sticker shows as **Sent a sticker**.
