# Is Murudo free?

Joining Murudo, matching and messaging are free. Murudo Premium is optional and adds more likes, more introductions and more privacy.

Yes. Joining Murudo, building your profile, liking people, matching and messaging are free. Murudo Premium is optional: you only pay if you choose to buy a pass or a boost.

## What you can do for free

- Create your profile and get the **Verified** badge.
- Get one introduction a day in **Daily**.
- Browse **For You** and like people. A free account has a set number of likes each day, and the count resets every day.
- Match and chat with your matches, and send photos in chat.
- See in **Likes** that people have liked you. On a free account most of them are blurred.
- Set your distance, age range and who you want to date.
- Block, report, pause your account and use the **Safety Center**.

You are not asked for a card or a mobile money number when you join.

## What Murudo Premium adds

Premium comes in two levels, **Plus** and **Gold**.

- **Plus**: unlimited likes, see everyone who liked you, 3 Daily introductions a day, advanced filters and Rewind, which takes back your last choice in **For You**.
- **Gold**: everything in Plus, with 5 Daily introductions a day and Stealth Mode for private browsing.

[Free, Plus and Gold compared](https://help.murudo.co/premium-and-payments/plans-compared/) has the full list.

## How you pay

Premium is sold as a pass for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. Boosts are sold separately, as one-time packs.

- In the app from Google Play, you pay through Google Play, and Google Play shows the price.
- In the app downloaded from murudo.co and on Murudo Web, you pay through Paynow with EcoCash, OneMoney, InnBucks, or a card or bank. At the time of writing a 24-hour Plus pass is $0.99. The current prices are at https://murudo.co/pricing/.

> [!NOTE]
> A pass bought through Paynow never renews by itself. In the Google Play app, 7-day and 30-day passes renew until you cancel them in Google Play. See [Does my pass renew by itself?](https://help.murudo.co/premium-and-payments/does-my-pass-renew/)

## Events

Each Murudo Meets event shows its own ticket price before you book. An event may also have no ticket fee. See [Book a place at an event](https://help.murudo.co/meets/book-an-event/).
