# I think someone else has used my account

Change your password to log out every other device, check the details on your account, then tell support what you saw.

Change your password now. That logs out every other phone and browser using your account. Then check your account details and tell support what you noticed.

## 1. Lock them out

Murudo has no screen that lists the devices logged in to your account. A new password is how you log all of them out.

- **You can log in and know your password**: open **Settings**, **Account and security**, then **Change password**. Your phone stays logged in and every other device is logged out. Steps are in [Change your password](https://help.murudo.co/account-and-login/change-your-password/).
- **You cannot log in**: [reset your password](https://help.murudo.co/account-and-login/forgot-password/) with a code sent to your email. With a username account, [recover it with a selfie](https://help.murudo.co/account-and-login/recover-a-username-account/). Both log out every other device.
- **You sign in with Google**: change your Google password first. Then, in Murudo, open **Account and security** and tap **Add password**. Setting a password logs out your other devices, and Google sign-in still works.

A reset and a selfie recovery also remove any passkey saved on your account. Changing your password with your current one does not. **Add password** removes it in the Android app; on Murudo Web it is kept unless you tick **Also remove the passkey saved on this account**. Either way, check **Passkeys** in step 2.

## 2. Check your account

- **Email address**: in **Account and security**, check that the email shown is yours. A verified email cannot be changed in the app, so if you see an address you do not know, contact support at once.
- **Profile**: open **Edit Profile** and look at your photos, bio and prompts. Put right anything that was changed.
- **Chats**: look for messages you did not send. If a match was asked for money or a code, tell them it was not you.
- **Premium**: if you see a pass, boosts or a payment you did not make, note the date and any payment reference.
- **Passkeys**: a passkey logs in to Murudo Web without your password. On Murudo Web, open **Settings**, then **Account**, and look at **Passkeys**. If it shows a passkey you did not save, with a **Saved on** date you do not recognise, tap **Remove**. More in [Log in with a passkey on Murudo Web](https://help.murudo.co/murudo-web/passkeys/).

## 3. Tell support

In the app, open **Profile**, **Inbox**, then **Contact Murudo**. Or email [support@foretellhq.com](mailto:support@foretellhq.com) from the email on your account. Include:

- your account email or username;
- what you noticed and when;
- screenshots if you have them.

Do not send your password, a code or your recovery phrase. Support never needs them.

## 4. Stop it happening again

- Use a password you use nowhere else.
- Turn on the app lock if other people can pick up your phone.
- Log out on any phone or browser that is not yours.
